Alone

With the work week happening, I once more had this stretch of the Bow River to myself as I practiced self-isolation on a beautiful start to the day .

For a change of pace I left my fly rod at home, instead reaching for my vintage Browning ultralightweight spinning rod equipped with a Mitchel model 308 lightweight spinning reel of the same vintage.

Of course it goes without saying that I had brought along a couple of my favorite pocket cameras, as one never knows when an opportunity to photograph something will present itself.
