While spending time shooting photos of trains passing by on the CP Brooks sub southeast of Indus AB, and making the approach to this spot takes me past a spot where a new house is about to be built.
In this photo they were pouring concrete for the basement, and since then while passing by I see they are ready to start construction on the house.
Its interesting how the property which looks like about 4 acres in size was prepared last fall including landscaping that includes a small lake that was dug and landscaped, trees planted throughout the property and of course the road put in place.
The property has great views of the Rockies to the west, so it will be interesting to see how the house design accommodates this.
I also believe that the property belongs to a farm that lies close by, and although the farm is laid out very nicely with machinery sheds, grain storage, and what not, the farm is missing a house, so my belief this house once complete will be lived in by the farmer and his family.
