Home Sweet Home
Well its not our home, but one of the cool houses to be found in Field BC, one of my favorite places for spotting trains.
Earlier in the morning with the wife riding shotgun, we chased a train from Calgary to Field.
Once in Field where as you have noticed winter hasn't left yet, we enjoyed lunch at the Truffle Pigs Bistro, one of our favorite eateries located in Field.
Field is a railroad town, and westbound freight trains out of Calgary meet eastbound freight trains in Field where the crews change trains. The main track is located right outside of the Truffle Pigs Bistro, so we were able to keep an eye 0ut for an eastbound train to chase back to Calgary.
All in all a great day with many photos shot over the course of the day.
