Where's The Trail
Another image from the Lake O'Hara region located in BC's Yoho National Park, shot on a cool rainy kind of day.
If you expand the photo, and look close, you can see the Lake O'Hara lodge located on the peninsula jutting out into Lake O'Hara. Across the lake from the lodge is the Seven Veils waterfall, stunning up close. Also seen is the Elizabeth Parker Hut located in the meadow.
On this day we started out from the lodge, and hiked up to the Grandview Prospect with an altitude of 8700 feet above sea level.
Stunning views from the prospect, with all the area lakes, Oesa, McArthur, Linda, Morning Glory, and Lake O'Hara visible.
