The Lodge
Over the years my wife and I have owned a lot of different tents, but recently we found ourselves looking to add a tent to our tent collection that would provide us with more of the comforts of home.
Although this Alaskan Guide tent from Cabela's comes in three different sizes, a 4, 6, and 8 man tent, we chose the 6 man version as it allows for several cots to be set up with a table and all your gear stored inside as well as a 6 ft ceiling making it easy to move around in.
This 6 person Geodesic Alaskan Guide tent from Cabela's has proven to be the upgrade we were looking for. The tent is rated as a four season tent which makes it virtually bomb proof in extreme windy conditions or under a load of snow, or shedding off pouring rain.
We recently had it out camping in Kananaskis Country, and it's proving to be a winner. I have to say I enjoyed sleeping on a cot with my favourite sleeping bag, a first for me.
