Winding Stooge
No I don't mean myself!
The assembly that holds the model airplane while the rubber motors are being wound is called a "winding-stooge" one that I built in my home workshop.
The 10-1 winder used to wind the rubber motors is one I built from a gear-head motor, the electric motor discarded and the gear-head modified with a added crank and hook.
In this photo I am placing winds in place on the rubber motors (3 of them) 1000 turns in total.
Just so you know, that was a much younger me.
