The Applicator
While returning to Calgary after a morning of chasing trains on the Brooks sub south of Strathmore, I spotted this ground sprayer applying chemicals to a canola field.
July 3rd has to be the earliest date on the calendar that I've seen a canola field in bloom in the Calgary area.
Nice crop also, if you take into consideration that the wheels on the sprayer are at least 4 feet in diameter, the canola about 3 feet high.
