The Hunter

This Great Gray Owl caught several meadow voles while I was observing and photographing him.

It was a thrilling experience to watch him as he left his perch on a nearby fence post, and made a swift silent approach on a unsuspecting meadow vole.

Take it from me, this GGO is a very good hunter, and deadly with his talons.
