If you look close at this photo (expand it), you can see where my point of focus was.<br />

Shooting photos of birds on the wing reminds me of when I was a teenager growing up in southern Saskatchewan.<br />
<br />
My friends and I were avid game bird hunters. <br />
<br />
We would come up on a covey of partridge, and we learnt the hard way that if we shot in the general direction of the partridges (flock shoot) as they flew away, without picking a individual bird out as a point of aim, we went home empty handed.<br />
<br />
If we picked a individual bird out, our chances of bagging a partridge increased.<br />
<br />
My point is, when photographing a flock of birds on the wing, pick your target, or you will have nothing but a blurry photo to go home with.<br />
<br />
BTW, I only hunt with a camera now days.
