Brown Thrasher
While camping in the badlands of eastern AB recently, and although I wasn't looking for birds in particular while out on a early morning hike in the badlands surrounding our camp, I was pleased when this Brown Thrasher landed close to me.
Beautiful bird with a wonderful song, capable of doing imitations of other birds,. The Brown Thrasher in Alberta is at the far northern part of its range, only seen in the summer months along the southeast corner of the province.
