Birds of Summer
While out chasing train on the Brooks sub CP's main track near Indus AB, I came up on this slough filled with recent arrivals from the southern US. There were many species of ducks, geese, and swans in attendance on this morning.
Many of the ducks were Northern Pintails easily identified by their tail feathers, maybe my favorite duck, and oh can they cut a hole in the wind as they wing their way across the sky hitting speeds of 110 kph.
As you can tell, they weren't worried about social distancing!
