Its the mama and her 4 ducklings taking a break from swimming in the pond.<br />

I had noticed this female Mallard tucked in the grasses bordering this wetlands, and I happened to be checking her out through my long lens, when I noticed some movement beneath her. I then spotted a tiny bill, and I said to myself "self, she has babies tucked in beneath her" A moment later, sher noticed another female mallard swimming close by, and she launched herself in to the water to put the run on the other female mallard, but just before she did this, her movement startled the ducklings beneath her, who were taking a peek when I shot the photo.
