Sharp-tailed grouse

Well spring must be here, as this morning I spent an hour watching 13 Sharp-tailed grouse performing their courtship dance. I must say they were enjoyable to watch in the early morning light.

After about an hour, two of the grouse got in to a serious battle, and that scared all of them into flying off.
