Wild Species
Boy's Club
Early morning finds me in the Rockies southwest of Calgary, where I was able to photograph these very nice trophy Bighorn rams kicking back in the early morning sun just after they finished grazing on a nearby slope.
These Bighorn rams having spent the summer grazing on high mountain slopes and meadows, and with fall now here, they are now coming down to the valley bottoms to meet up with the females of the species.
When I got in to good range for shooting photos, it helped that in front of these good old boys was a small group of Ewes holding their attention.
While the rams were keeping their eyes on the ewes, I was able to shoot photos without disturbing them and causing them to move away.
