The Youngster
Caught this young male pheasant that would have been born earlier this year filling his craw with pebbles to help digest his food.
Interesting how his feathers are coming in, not yet fully filled, his tail-feathers not fully grown, but overall sporting beautiful colours typical of the Ring Neck pheasant.
