Rainbow Warrior
As you may or may not know, shooting into the sun can cause lens flare, more so if it is a zoom lens opposed to a prime lens.
Lens as a rule are internally baffled to prevent this, however even the best lens will allow flare on occasion with the results not necessarily pleasing to the photographer.
The pocket camera that I carry while out roving with my bow has a fixed 18mm prime lens as part of the body, and is very well baffled preventing lens flare for the most part except when the front lens element is under direct assault by the sun as it was in this photo.
Still I was not displeased with the rainbow flare effects present in the photograph.
