Trails Across The Prairies
Make It So
With all the rain we've been experiencing across Southern AB throughout the month of June, I've had to keep my eye to the skies, grabbing any opportunity that comes my way to get out and do some roving through the grasslands with my bow.
I also have made sure to have bug-repellent loaded in my haversack, as the mosquitos are certainly capable of making your life miserable if you are unprepared.
Mind you the mosquitoes have to be pretty bad to bother me, as I grew up in the center of an irrigation project, the standing water in the fields creating the perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes, the hatchlings blackening the skies, so for the most part mosquitoes don't bother me much.
Fortunately on this morning there was a breeze blowing, keeping the mosquitoes at bay on my early morning foray over the course of a couple of hours.
