As Good as it Gets
I was down in the Cardston area recently, and checked out this Alberta Pacific Elevator located in what once was the village of Raley now long gone.
I understand it is the the oldest remaining elevator in Alberta.
constructed shortly after the St. Mary Railway line (succeed by Canadian Pacific Railway) was constructed in 1900 from Stirling to Cardston.
Of course the rails are long gone, but what a location with commanding views of the Rockies to the west.
