Cosmic Rays
Early morning pre-dawn darkness found me at the summit of the Highwood Pass located in Kananaskis Country when sunrise occurred.
Although I couldn't see the sun directly as it lie behind the mountain ridges just to the east of my location, I was witness to an incredible display of light as the sunlight bathed the snow covered peaks with hues of pink turning to gold.
This wonderful display of light at sunrise is what makes it all worthwhile.....the getting up in the early morning darkness that is.
