I find it interesting how the various grain terminals that I come across, use different methods of moving their grain cars around the elevator.
Just down the track a ways, the Pioneer elevator has its own lease locomotive that is kept on site just for this purpose.
On this morning at this Viterra elevator located nearby just southeast of Indus AB, I noticed that CP Rail had two of its locomotive in play just after sunrise, moving grain cars around the elevator.
Does that mean that Viterra finds it more economical to have CP do the work for them, possibly.
