This gallery has been my most successful to date for purchases of my photos.

Cameras that is, as with this commanding location allowing me to photograph this stack train coming up the grade in the distance at Stangmuir siding located on the Brooks sub with my DSLR and long lens.
I also shot this stack train using my mirrorless camera with a short telephoto prime lens mounted on it, the camera slung over my shoulder in readiness as the train came up on my location seen here.
It goes without saying that changing lens was not an option as the train would have been long gone, or at least this shot would have been.
That's why two cameras were required, with different lens mounted on either body.

Here is the same train shot in the distance with my DSLR and long lens , shot with the lead locomotive at least a 1/4 mile away from my location.
