Ticket To Ride
I'm finding out that the many visitors to my train gallery have a love of trains as I do.

The Chicane
Beautiful morning spent chasing train 114 from Calgary to Swalwell AB, one of my favorite spots on the Three Hills sub to capture northbound trains in the early morning light, as they work their way through this S-curve located just south of Swalwell.
Before I chase any trains about to leave the CN Logistics terminal located at Conrich just northeast of Calgary, I check out what the train consists of, as ultimately I know I'll end up at this location, and unless the train is made up stacks, its not near as pretty working through the S-curve, as the cut that the train runs through hides other types of rail cars. On this morning once I saw that the train consisted of all stacks, I was good to go.
CN 3210 CN 3803 along with CN 3073 the MTR powering train 114 made up of stacks through mile 85 on the Three Hills sub as it climbs the grade to Swalwell AB.
Another plus on this morning were all the recently sowed fields awash in various shades of green, looking mighty pretty in the early morning light.
