A Rare Bird
So I had just parked in the parking lot of the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary located in southeast Calgary, when I hear the sound of diesel locomotives.
Imediatly to the west of the IBS parking lot is a siding that always seems to have tank cars parked there, possibly waiting for repairs to be done by Caltrax located next to CP Rail’s Alyth yard in Calgary,
I was surprised to see a CN train a 100 feet away from me, and I knew the only way it got to this location, was to cross the CN girder bridge over the Bow river, which would be a rare sighting on any given day.
Unfortunately they beat me back to the bridge, and I didn't get the chance to photograph this happening,
