Ticket To Ride
I'm finding out that the many visitors to my train gallery have a love of trains as I do.

Ominous Skies
Leaving my truck behind, and with my camera in hand I took a walk bordering this wetlands that also bellied up against the Three Hills sub on the opposite side.
Of course there was a method to my madness as I could see that a mixed freight train was approaching from off in the distance.
The wind swirling about indicated to me a change in the upcoming weather, and as I walked the wind began to blow harder and the clouds appeared more ominous. Almost without warning a large clap of thunder accompanied by a bolt of lightning struck not but a few hundred meters in front of me.
With the train now opposite my location, I snapped the shot and headed back to my truck, being pelted with rain driven before the wind.
It's tough being a train photographer, but someone has to do it!
