If I understand correctly, this blue CN 2459 locomotive is a ex-LMX leased C40-8W that the IC (Iowa, Chicago and Eastern) leased.
When CN merged with the IC they inherited those locomotives and applied a CN "wet noodle" logo on the flanks.
