I'd been listening to the crew of this grain train talking to the rail traffic controller in Calgary on my scanner as they passed the Strangmuir sidding located on the Brooks sub. south of Strathmore. They were indicating they had a problem with one of the cars dragging something on one of the trucks.

They stopped to check it in Carsland, and found that they weren't going any further with it the way it was, as the car was in danger of derailing.
In this photo you can see the conductor back five cars after checking the problem on the sixth car just visible. I actually could see there was an issue beneath the sixth car as it slowly passed my location.

The car was dropped on a siding in Carsland for repair, and the heavily loaded train then got underway once more, the two engines up front providing the power along with a mid-engine remote and a tail-end remote also doing their part in moving the train, its final destination the west coast.
