Ticket To Ride
I'm finding out that the many visitors to my train gallery have a love of trains as I do.

The Rocky Mountaineer
Now I must say that the Rocky Mountaineer is one pretty passenger train as it powers it's way west through Banff Park in the early morning light.
I'll have you know that the RM can be an elusive animal to shoot photos of. I spent two days chasing after a ghost before I finally got to shoot photos of the RM passing my location as seen here.
The problem is the fact that the Rocky Mountaineer is a privately owned train running on Canadian Pacific road, and the schedule can change at a moments notice depending what CP has going on with its freight trains that have priority over the Rocky Mountaineer.
So even though you check the Rocky Mountaineer website for the schedule, not necessarily will you find the train running on that schedule.
Still, I had fun spending time in Banff Park tracking down this most elusive of trains.
