Ticket To Ride
I'm finding out that the many visitors to my train gallery have a love of trains as I do.

Noise In The City
When I say noise, I'm not actually refering to the sound (Thunder In The City) created by the locomotive as it approaches my position but I'm refering to the noise in the photograph resulting from shooting with a setting of ISO 3200 due to the subdued light available for handheld shooting with a telephoto lens on this morning.
Still, there something to be said about a photograph that has some noise (within reason) in it, as it reminds me of shooting with high-speed film and the resulting photograph having a grainy finish, actually quite desirable, especially when shooting with B&W film.
Expand the photo full frame for the full noise effect, although acceptable for ISO 3200.
Oh, for the record, this train headed by 8907 is westbound out of downtown Calgary on the Laggan sub.
