Trains and Such
This gallery has been one of my most successful to date for purchases of my photos.
The Snapshot
That's exactly what this photo is, a quick snapshot as train 114 passes my location on the Three Hills sub just north of Swalwell AB, where I had stopped to shoot photos of the passing train as seen elsewhere in this gallery.
My definition of a "snapshot" is a photo shot to quickly to have had a chance to put any thought in to it in regards to composition, exposure, or proper framing within the viewfinder.
In fact, the photo required straightening and adjustment for being under exposed.
Still, a snapshot regardless of how it turned out was required when I received a friendly wave out the window.
Course, the train crew probably thought I needed help (I won't say what kind), as I was seen standing on the roof of my truck!
