History In The Making

Having come across this old abandonded railline with a trestle spanning Kneehill creek located in the hill country south of Swalwell AB, I wondered what the history was on it.

I have since discovered that it was a CP line that stretched from Cosway junction just north of Acme, through to Carbon and then on to Drumheller, with running rights through Drumheller with CN and through to East Coulee and then over to Finnegan, and up the valley reconnecting back to the Rosemary sub, and then connecting to the Bassano sub.
