Picking Up
With prices remaining higher than normal as farmers off-combine sales surge, the grain elevators are doing a brisk trade with grain hoppers rapidly filled then picked up and delivered to the coast for ships waiting to be filled.
On this morning CP 7031 and UP 5763 were assembling a grain train at the Pioneer elevator located on the Brooks sub near Carsland AB, with the Cargill elevator seen in the distance.
