While checking on conditions southwest of Calgary on the Bow river as far as spring fishing goes, my wife and I were talking to this fly-fisherman as he left his truck behind to try his hand at some spring fishing on the Bow.
Lots of ice along the banks and the temperature on the cool side, but as he said "I can't stand it any longer, gotta give it a go."
I'll be doing something similar this coming week with the temperatures moderating across Southern Alberta.
