Throttle It Up
Set Free
So I'll bet your wondering what's going on here....
I was down to the AJ Flying Ranch south of Calgary. and while wandering around, I spotted this very cool model biplane wind-indicator mounted on a pole in the yard.
I imediattly knew what I wanted to do with it, and strategically selected a direction to shoot the photo in, with the Porcupine Hills framed in the background.
I also had a very limited angle of view to shoot the photograph of this beautiful biplane wind and direction indicator, as there were shrubs and trees nearby.
I also waited on the wind to turn the biplane in the right direction to get this quartering photograph, as well as a nice blur on the propeller.
Once I got home, and had uploaded the photograph into Lightroom, I removed the pole that held the model in place, setting it free...creating my favorite photograph of the day.
