32 PDR Seacoast Cannon

This model was built from my #4 plan set.

This model of a 32 PDR casemate cannon, was listed in the Ordanance Manual of 1841 as using a casemate carriage and was referred to as a MODEL -1839. These carriages were also used with several other larger guns, larger than the 32 PDR. The carriage is quite interesting, and I enjoy having this cannon displayed on my desk.
