Photo 4 of 4 - Thread-cutting in the Lathe - Not only is the die holder with the included die free to move on the #2 morse taper arbor mounted in the tail-stock, but when hand-holding the die holder while thread-cutting as shown in the photo, and once the thread is cut to the required depth, releasing your hold on the die-holder allows the assembly to turn with the work, which prevents any damage from occuring to the work
