One of the most important tools in a machine shop, is a machinist bench vise.
I just finished building this cast iron 1/4 scale model vise, scaled down from a full size 4 1/2" Wilton machinist bench vise. As small as this 1/4 scale vise is, it is still capable of doing serious work.
I've decided that this one turned out way to nice to be subjected to any serious work, so instead, I will display it with some of my other collectables.
