Smaller Is Good
I have a 3 ton Buffalo Arbor Press in my shop, however there were times that I wished that I had a smaller Arbor Press for those jobs that required a more precise feel like when pinning the scales and linings on to pocket knives, and mounting the builders plate on my completed projects.
This little arbor press that I built fills the need very well. It is good and heavy as well as strong, considering that I used 1" hot-roll for the upper and lower parts of the frame.
