VE6AB Antenna Werks
September 2015 QST
The front cover of the September issue of QST features the radio-stack that resides in my mobile.
I shot the QST cover photo during the MS Bike Tour that took place here in Southern Alberta back in June.
I also have an antenna construction article within the pages of this issue of QST .
Check out the complete 4 page construction article titled "Take-Down Yagi for the 2 Meter Band" here....

Remember if you are building any of my antennas, as per usual I am only an email away if you have questions on anything related to something that isn't clear, or possibly you cannot find the listed material, or anything else you may want to discuss like maybe questions in regards to my mobile, or......well just anything.

Update....
Since the September issue of QST was released, I have been fielding a lot of email with questions pertaining to how I assembled the mount for my radio-stack positioned in my 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche as featured on the cover of QST.
I originally designed and built the radio-stack for my previous mobile, a 2004 Ford F150, http://www.jerryclement.ca/HamRadio/VE6AB-F150/n-QJTRH/
and after acquiring the Avalanche in 2012, I rebuilt the bottom mount section that the radio stack attaches to, allowing the stack to be reinstalled into my Avalanche.
The nice thing about a radio stack such as this one, is that there are very few vehicles that you couldn't position a radio stack such as this one into, and that includes most vehicles in the marketplace today.
Here is a photo showing the mechanical side of my radio-stack and a description of what my radio-stack consists of......
