Bad Moon Setting
The moon is about to set in the next 20 minutes, as sunrise is about to happen in the next 10 minutes, and I wanted to frame it in with the landscape that included the Calgary city core in the distance.
However with all the smoke in the air, and especially close to the horizon, I realized that it was disappearing before my eyes, so I snapped this pic while the snapping was good.
The bands were in reasonably good condition on this morning, and I made a number of contacts on 17 and 40 meters, and also playing photographer when the opportunity presented itself.
