Switch it Up
This is how you change out one end of the 17 and 20 meter band elements on the Inverted U rotatable field dipole.
The elements are inter-connected through the hinging system as shown, allowing each section to be quickly deployed by un-folding them once in place.
Once the end of the element is inserted into the end of the telescopic 10 meter dipole, the hitch-pin is inserted and you now have switched bands based on the element set installed.
The 3 section element inserted in the end of the aluminum tube is for 20 meters.
The 2 section element to the left and below is for 17 meters.
