Antenna Storage
So what your seeing is a snapshot of how I store antennas in my workshop that are not being used until needed.
The photo shows four separate brackets that I built from thin-wall square steel tubing and welded the pieces together for this purpose, then fastened the brackets to the upstairs ceiling floor joists, getting the antennas out from underfoot.
My workshop has florescent tube fixtures located up and down both sides of the workshop that the antennas are positioned between.
Anyway, I though you might be interested in how I maximize the space in my workshop.
Just so you know, most of these antennas are meant for use on my mobile, although several are for handheld usage.
Also, the majority of these antennas were built in my workshop other than the Webster Bandspanners.
Of course it goes without saying that there are other antennas not seen here that are either mounted on my mobile at the moment, or stored in the cargo bay of my mobile, or sitting in the garage where I store the push-up mast used on my mobile, oh, and in the furnace room, and......
