Antenna Werks - Shunt Coils

This is the shunt coil that I built and have mounted in the coax at the feedpoint of my various HF antennas. I use a SO239 panel mount connector to solder the coil to inside of these PVC caps. This shunt coil has proven to work very well, and the housing keeps the coil out of the enviroment. Once the shunt coil is installed in place, the PL259 connectors of the coax connected to the Amphenol tee are wrapped with rubber sealing tape.
