Take-Down Yagi Research and Development

Some time ago I mentioned that I have a new 2 meter handheld take-down yagi in the works, and the testing continues as I continue to improve on the design.

The final prototype design of my handheld 2 meter breakdown TDY is shown here in the lower right of my photo, along with from left to right, earlier prototype variations used for testing in the research and development leading to the final design of my TDY.

My first tape measure yagi on the far left is based on the WBHOL tape-measure yagi design, and my TDY is a much modified takedown version based on this design.

I am getting close to putting words to paper, or should I say the computer, as I am in the final stages of running tests with this take-down yagi.
