Kodachrome 64
The photos in this gallery were all shot on Kodachrome 64 slide film which as you know needed special processing. The last Kodachrome processing lab located in Parsons Kansas closed down in 2004.
Some of these images were shot going back more than 40 years ago.
Film has that look that is very popular today, with film simulations all the rage.
The photos that I have chosen to display here are of no particular subject and in no particular order, and I will continue to add to them.
NOTE.....All the photos can be expanded full screen.

Moon Scape Landscape
I shot this photo in early June of 1984 while Rolly, Diane, JJ, and myself hiked across part of the bottom of Upper Kananaskis Lake located in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park part of Kananaskis Country located west of Calgary.
Originally Upper Kananaskis Lake was a natural lake that got dammed in 1932 by TransAlta adding a hydro power station to the lake. The 3 original islands that dotted Upper Kananaskis Lake are now under water, or at least they are when the lake is full.
All the stumps you see were trees that lined the shoreline along the original lake, but are under water when the lake fills with runoff from the mountains later in the summer.
