Kodachrome 64
The photos in this gallery were all shot on Kodachrome 64 slide film which as you know needed special processing. The last Kodachrome processing lab located in Parsons Kansas closed down in 2004.
Some of these images were shot going back more than 40 years ago.
Film has that look that is very popular today, with film simulations all the rage.
The photos that I have chosen to display here are of no particular subject and in no particular order, and I will continue to add to them.
NOTE.....All the photos can be expanded full screen.

The Old Days
It's been a while since the Calgary Tower, or as it was known in the beginning was called the Husky Tower. I first moved to Calgary when the tower was being built in 1967/68. The concrete was a continuous pour, quite interesting to observe the tower growing in height on a daily bases.
Of course this photo was shot some years later in 1985 on a very foggy morning with the newly constructed Saddledome built in 1983 cradling the early morning fog, and the other newly completed building being the Petro-Canada building completed in 1984 seen to the right in the photo and eclipsing the Husky Tower as the tallest structure in Calgary at the time.
