Kodachrome 64
The photos in this gallery were all shot on Kodachrome 64 slide film which as you know needed special processing. The last Kodachrome processing lab located in Parsons Kansas closed down in 2004.
Some of these images were shot going back more than 40 years ago.
Film has that look that is very popular today, with film simulations all the rage.
The photos that I have chosen to display here are of no particular subject and in no particular order, and I will continue to add to them.
NOTE.....All the photos can be expanded full screen.

Switch Backs
On this showery and rainy kinda day in 1985, Rolly and I were on the Odary Grandview Ledge trail hiking up to a high vantage point the allows you to see the whole Lake O'Hara region in one sweep.
We started the hike from Lake O'Hara seen below along with the Elizabeth Parker Hut Meadows that we passed through earlier on our hike.
Even needing to put on our rain gear from time to time for the brief showers we encountered on occasion didn't dampen our enthusiasm on the day.
