Manpack APRS

So what your seeing here sitting on the tailgate of my mobile, is a complete bi-directional APRS messaging station that I recently put together.

The station is made up of a Byonics TT4 with the companion display, Byonics GPS5 receiver, compact Adesso PS2 keyboard, Baofeng UV-3R+ with a telescopic whip antenna in place, and a roll-up antenna available when needed, as well as an extra battery, and a small 12 volt gel-cell for powering the Byonics devices.

The case that it resides in was actually meant to carry
a handgun, and any good gunshop will have them in stock.
