VE6AB Technical
275 grams of Heat
Sandbagged by an abrupt change in the weather? Then you want to own one of the coolest and warmest pound for pound jackets I have ever owned bar none.
Now realize that this is a jacket made to use with layers, it does not replace a parka if that's your thing.
After owning this jacket for 6 months, I can highly recommend it.
In different photos spread throughout my galleries in which I am wearing this jacket, you will notice that I also have the matching vest when I don't feel I have need for the jacket. I also have the matching fleece that I wear beneath this jacket, and over the vest when the weather gets real nasty.
Whip this super-light technical jacket out of your pack, put it on, and feel the warmth!
The close cut and elastic thread in the quilting keep the outline lean and eliminate air spaces and fits your body like a glove.
The DWR-treated shell and synthetic PrimaLoft One insulation stands up to dampness and shed light precip.
The shell is ripstop polyester with DWR. Lined with smooth, no-snag polyester.
PrimaLoft Gold insulation retains warmth when wet. Fibres are locked in place with sewn-through quilting.
Heat trapping elastic at wrists and hem.
The jacket folds into its external chest pocket as shown in the insert photo, and is small enough to fit in the lid of your pack.
Yep the jacket is actually in the pocket that you see on the second insert photo of the jacket.
Gotta love that!

Oh, where did I purchase the jacket you ask....MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-Op) in Calgary, and they do have a on line store.
