Kit and Caboodle
I recently began building a mirrorless camera system, and wouldn't you know it, like many other photographers I own a fair number of camera bags, used depending on my days shoot with my DSLR system, although none of them are really suited to my new mirrorless camera as seen in the photo.
The one that came the closest is an over-the-shoulder messenger-type camera bag, that also accepts a 13" laptop, and will probably play a bigger role as I aquire more accessories and lens for my new mirrorless camera system.
In the end I went looking for a suitable bag that met my needs for a lightweight walking around kit, and in particular I wanted a bag that I could wear around my waist, or sling over my shoulder.
I found the perfect bag as seen in the photo, and it is the perfect compact travel security solution I found while on a recent road-trip to Vancouver.
I could wear it as a waist pack or cross body to securely carry the kit I took along consisting of the body, several lens, filters, TTL flash, lens hoods, lens cleaning cloth, dust-blower, (18mm fixed mirrorless camera that shot the photo) etc.
The bag as seen features a secure front flap with zipper opening main compartment, and is easily accessed when I wished to change lens or add a filter, or possibly the electronic flash.
With the bag worn to the back and out of the way, its as simple as swiveling the bag around the waist to the front, allowing easy access to the interior of the bag.
After wearing it everyday for 7 days, possibly while out hiking, or on the streets of Vancouver, or walking the seawall, well no matter where I went, it was a pleasure to wear, and easily ignored while walking about until needed, love it!
