Daypack Essentials
I've been asked what I carry in my daypack while I'm out and about, possibly while out on a walk-about with my stickbow.
What you see here is what resides in my daypack, however I'll add to the mix depending on my destination for the day.
If I'm in bear country, I'll include bearspray as well, and if I'm carrying bear spray, it resides on my belt, not in the pack, as that's not where you want it if a bear is in your face.
I also will add food stuff beyond the "Cliff" bars, if I will be away from my mobile for an extended time.
Not shown here are the items that I carry in a pocket of my daypack that may be required for my longbow, like an extra bow string, various points, wax, etc.
During the summer months I also always have bug spray along as well.
As the title says, the contents of my daypack shown here are the essentials that reside in my daypack from day to day.
If required, I also have my Bug-Out bag available to me, as it resides in my mobile for those times that things fall apart, and the situation facing me gets a whole lot more serious.
Here's my take on keeping safe while away from home.....
